I made this card for my friend June, who is starred in Chandler,AZ Idol. She made it all the way to the final round. It's made with rock star princess cartridge, and cut at three and a half inches. I used Washi tape and cut it to look like flags.

Crafty Gals - April 2013 Challenge

This month we're casing Barb!  Barb has a great style. I love her layered panels on her creations. She is not afraid of color either. She has a great collection of wonderful sentiments also. She loves to travel, loves the outdoors and has many adventures walking, biking, and hiking trails.

Here's my version of Barb's style...

Here's the card I cased.... You can view it on Barb's blog here.

Hoppy Easter!

I'm continuing to use my stash this year. This card features a neat pastel background that I had left over from a previous project. I used The Gifts of Spring Stampin Up set for the cute bunnies and tied it up with a bow. A very simple card.

Godspeed Card - Stampin Up!

I've been eyeing this stamp set for about a year, but it's so expensive!  Luckily some fabulous gal stamped me an image and I got to make a card for my brother in law who is leaving to Afghanistan this month. Godspeed brother!

Mustache Card

I had a few mustache cuts left over from a craft fair that I did last year. Since I was trying to finish up using this ooooold paper, I plopped one on it. I think it works :)

Crafty Gals - March 2013 Challenge

This month we are showing love to Carolina. Carolina loves "My Favorite Things" stamps, bright colors and mixing different patterned papers on one creation...just to name a few. Please visit her blog below to be totally inspired!

I used MFT Bunny Go Fishing stamp and some colorful patterned paper that I've had for YEARS!!!!!  I never thought I'd use this paper, but I really like it on cards with minor embellishments.

Hogs and Kisses Card - Joy's Life Stamps

Such a sweet little piggy wants to give you lots of love.  I used Joy's Life stamps here for the cute saying. The pig is from the Cricut County Fair cartridge and the cute eyelets are from Eyelet Outlet. All of these items came out of my stash. This year I'm trying really hard NOT to buy so much, and use what I already have.

Here's another great cut from the Suburbia cartridge.  I paired it with my graphic 45 paper to make a simple yet elegant card.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I made this card at a local scrapbook store called The Paper Vine. It's a really cute store in Mesa, Az. It carries all of the great lines like Graphic 45 (my fav). I visited the open house and stocked up on my Graphic 45 Place in Time 12 x 12 paper...as if I need anymore paper!  This was a make and take.  I love the cute wooden embellishments that they sell there. If you're ever in Arizona, I recommend that you stop by this cute scrapbooking store. The owner is really nice.

Sweethearts Card - Cricut Cartridge

It really is a shame that I don't use this cartridge much because it has such fantastic cuts included in it. This is one of my favorites.

Crafty Gals Challenge - February 2013

This month we're showing love to Jeanette! She loves Nature, patterned paper, recycled things and things you would find in the Forest. Since my cabin is close to the forest I had a lot of inspiration.  One day as I was riding my quad a I saw a baby and mommy deer.  I had to capture the moment in this card.

Using My Stash - Chipboard Leftovers

I had some chipboard and rub on leftovers, so I threw them on this card. It's not my best work, but I didn't want to throw away these scraps.  I think it a ribbon between the two words will help to make this a better card.  I'm posting it because I think all work is art. It may not be our favorite piece, but it's still art none the less. So here's to my not to favorite piece of art. Cheers!

Using My Stash - Thank You Card

After making so many layouts, one is bound to have a few small extra pieces laying around. Those small pieces are never trashed at my house.  I always find a way to work them into a card.
