Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Cigar Purse
I picked up this paper from graphic 45. It's called Steampunk spells. I went ahead and embellished this cigar box purse and added Stickles and other embellishments that I had on hand. I think it turned out great. What do you think?

$3 Garden Bench Renovation in Less Than 30 Minutes
Last week I spent a whole $3 and 30 minutes on this garden bench rennovation. This garden bench is over 7 years old and has been stained before. I always debate whether or not I want to stain it because I love the weathered look. But last week I was shopping for chalkboard paint and I managed to snag some spray wood stain from Michaels for $3. Time to rennovate on the cheap!
Here's how the project went:
1. I sprayed off the pigeon poop and washed the bench.
2. Lightly sanded the bench.
3. Covered the wall with an old sheet. (Who has time to move benches?)
4. Sprayed the bench like crazy.
5. Waited 15 minutes for the first coat to dry.
6. Sprayed the 2nd coat and finished off the can.

Barbecue Grill Gift Card Holder From Lettering Delights
When I saw this Barbecue Grill Gift Card holder from Lettering Delights I just had to have it. I purchased it and downloaded it to my Silhouette Design Studio and went to work. It was real easy to cut, but folding the grill cover was more challenging than I had anticipated. I used tacky tape to get it to hold but after a few days it started to unravel a bit. Darn. My dad liked the presen, but next time I'll spend more time on the lid to get it just right. Oh well...live and learn.

Poppin Tags At Goodwill: Old Jeans Made New With Craft Supplies
I bought these old pair of jeans at the Goodwill. They were only four dollars on 1/2 price Saturday... what a deal. The problem is that they are missing a button. What's a girl to do.?
I immediately thought that I could just replace the button with a new one. And then I thought that might be too much work. So I grabbed my e6000 glue and my handy dandy embellishment button jar. I glued the embellishment to the broken button. Then I went around the edges of the button with my sealer glue and let it dry.
I get a lot of compliments on these jeans. They're great find and I'm so glad that I got do this project with supplies I already had. They've been in the wash a few times already and they're still looking great. I love these pants.

Alice in Wonderland clock with Graphic 45 Paper
Recently I received this graphic 45 paper that's been discontinued for a while. Luckily, I found some extra pieces on the internet. I've had these project pieces for over 5 years now and they've been sitting in my closet. I thought this paper would make a really great clock.
I use mod podge to seal the paper on the clock. Then I added some embellishments. Unfortunately the clock pieces broke. So I had to make a trip to the Hobby Lobby to pick up a new part. This is a clock I'll keep for a long time.

Home Decor - Five Years in the Making!
I purchased these letters in a kit about 5 years ago at the Tuesday Morning. They've been sitting in my closet for about 5 years now. I finally took some time to embellish them and seal them. Boy...some times it takes a long time to complete a project!
The paper is from My Minds Eye and I used Vintage photo ink to give it the aged look.
All letters were sealed with Mod Podge.
Thanks for stopping by!

Mac book pro sticker made with Silhouette Cameo - Crafty Gals Challenge
This month, the gals in the Crafty Gals blog group are showing some love to me. Can you believe it - how neat is that? The gals know I love using die cuts and my Cricut and Cameo so I decided to show you what I made with my Cameo this month.
I know you probably have guessed by now, that Alice in Wonderland is my favorite character. I think I can recite both versions of Alice and Wonderland. The cartoon and the remake with Jonny Depp.
Recently I saw a Snow White sticker on someone's Mac so I decided to create one myself with my Silhouette Cameo. I downloaded a coloring page file to my design studio. Then I made a few edits and cut out the vinyl. I love how it turned out and how she's holding the apple in her arms. The apple was Dina, but I edited the cat out. Don't hate me - I know cats are popular on the internet!
One of the things I love most about my Silhouette Cameo is that I can
customize pretty much anything. It takes a little bit of time and
practice but in the end its all worth it and it saves me money.

You Are Braver Than You Think Lettering Delights Card
Lettering Delights has a great set of Disney graphics and SVG cuts. When I saw this cut, I immediately purchased and downloaded the set. Merida is adorable with her beautiful orange hair. I used Peachy Keen stamps to create her cute face. I printed out the saying using Microsoft word and added some black washi tape.

Silhouette Cameo Watering Can
This cut that I found online at the silhouette america store was absolutely adorable. I just had to have it. So I cut it out exactly as it was measured when it landed on the virtual mat and put it together with my son. We had so much fun. I think it would make a great pen holder or paper flower holder.

Hello Kitty Kiss Gene Simmons - Cameo Cut
Now this is a cut above all others! Hello Kitty is so cute, but when you combine her with KISS you just can't miss! You can snag this free file from SeptemberNinth here. Ruthie has a ton of great freebies and projects on her blog. With the price of the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge skyrocketing...any cut with Hello Kitty is very much welcomed. You need cutting design software to use this file. I cut this out with my Silhouette Cameo.

Cricut Circle Animal Antics Exclusive Cartridge Has Arrrived
Yay! It arrived. The long awaited and very cool freebie from our friends at Provo Craft. They wanted to do something special for Circle members after a few not so customer friendly blunders. I have to say that PC did an excellent job recovering, especially since they called all of the circle members individually to get our feedback. It was such a pleasant surprise to see a company follow up with customers and try to make things right. Thanks PC!

Domestic Godess Journal - Altered Composition Book
I made this journal on Saturday to celebrate the start of my new job. The base layer is from Graphic 45 Domestic Godess line. I love, love, love G45 paper! I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink on the Grunge board Elements as well as a few other knick knacks I had around. The ribbon is from Stampin Up. My husband had some extra chicken wire from the coop he built so I made him cut me up some left over wire. I'm so thrilled with how it turned out!

Such a sweet little piggy wants to give you lots of love. I used Joy's Life stamps here for the cute saying. The pig is from the Cricut County Fair cartridge and the cute eyelets are from Eyelet Outlet. All of these items came out of my stash. This year I'm trying really hard NOT to buy so much, and use what I already have.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I made this card at a local scrapbook store called The Paper Vine. It's a really cute store in Mesa, Az. It carries all of the great lines like Graphic 45 (my fav). I visited the open house and stocked up on my Graphic 45 Place in Time 12 x 12 paper...as if I need anymore paper! This was a make and take. I love the cute wooden embellishments that they sell there. If you're ever in Arizona, I recommend that you stop by this cute scrapbooking store. The owner is really nice.

Coversation Heart Box - Lori Whitlock Design
Lori Whitlock is one of my favorite cut file designers on the Silhouette online store. I also used her poinsettia file for the flower. The clear acetate is recycled from a Cricut cartridge. I always keep the plastic that it comes in for this very purpose. Now....what should I put in there?
